So I blame dyeknom for this, but after he tweeted a few links to Youtube videos where reporters had accidentally damaged or destroyed other peoples' works of art, I couldn't stop looking similar videos up. :P

Check out some of the most egregious errors below:

I don't know which one was a bigger shame: the collapse of the Jenga tower that took 2 weeks to make, or the collapse of that huge ice sculpture that likely took just as long if not longer.

If you guys know of any more videos like those, share 'em below!

I would have punched that reporter in the face for knocking down the tower. The guy who made it was too nice about it.

It seems that ice sculpture didn't have any legs to stand on!

The guy's reaction in the last video is great, I can understand being upset over eight wasted hours but in the end the sculpture is going to melt and fall apart eventually. The reporter merely sped up the process.

Yeah, that Jenga tower was totally a recipe for disaster though as soon as you see the corded mic (I mean seriously, did he really have to go behind it with the wired mic then try to wrap around in front of it? How hard is it to record in front of the tower?). I think the giant ice sculpture one is the most heart breaking because it probably required the most work, even I have no idea why they thought to remove the supporters, at least it wasn't due to complete idiocy like the others (seriously, I would want to punch the other 3 reporters, especially the last 2 because of their reactions).

Also, why am I not surprised Dyeknom linked you this? (the #1 troll of chat, despite how he pretends otherwise...)

Okay first of all WTF was that guy doing letting the reporter walk that cord AROUND the jenga tower, that was just screaming disaster? I would have immediately said no, you keep away from that $@#%. Then he not only goes around the back but around the front at the end...is he retarded? He would have had to go back around again so I don't get what he was doing. Then the other two reporters...just even more assholeish. The last one asked if he could touch it then obviously pressed down hard on the sculpture before the guy even said it was okay to touch it, if that doesn't scream ****** I don't know what does...None of them were apologetic and their "sorry" seemed so half-assed, hell the guy was even laughing at the girls painting "you'll scream now - lolol im so funny". Those videos made me angry! People are so dumb sometimes...

Also, I don't get why the guy wanted to remove the beams from that large ice sculpture... Is it worth the risk of all that work just to remove things that looked in place to me. I understand what he was trying to do but I didn't think it was necessary either.

Though on a more positive note, it's pretty damn awesome to see how creative people can be.

This is terrible but at the same time so freaking funny to see these reporters mess things up. It just sucks to see these things get ruin like that. If that was me, I probably would punch the reporter. That reporter in the jenga ones look like he had no remorse after he took down the tower. I don't know, at the end when the guy walked away it just seem to me like he was kind of like "whoops, my bad."

So note to self, never ever let a reporter get near your master piece that took you for a very very long time to work on. Otherwise, you could end up on this thread.

I don't know why I even watched the rest of the videos. The jenga tower was enough to make me cringe and feel a little nauseous, although I wonder if that one was set up? I would think that with such a delicate sculpture you wouldn't have it just on the ground like that because anyone stomping or creating vibrations in the floor could make it fall.

To be fair it looked roped off and I imagine anyone that did anything would have been severely punished. So I don't think it was a set up...not to mention who would spend all that time setting that up just to have a dumb reporter knock it down? Especially since he mentioned the Guinness Book of Records were coming to check out the tower. However, I don't see why he let that reporter walk near/around it with that wired microphone... Also where else would be more stable? You can't really move that sculpture nor would it be more stable on another object.

Well I mean, that is a tough call. Because obviously if someone came to you and said "I am a reporter and I would like to mention you on tv or news about this awesome jenga you did." You would be like, heck yea when do we start taping. At least I would. And you would think, that these reporters are professional and things like these don't happen. So you would think it is safe to let them move around the tower (in this case). Plus, they can't report it unless they are moving around the tower or at least standing next to it. So this guy probably thought everything would have been a okay. Haha, guess not. Sucks for them all.

He could have easily just shown the front shot of the thing then spoken to the guy on the side, he didn't have to swing round one way then the opposite way (There was really no point to that - it was quite idiotic). Seemed quite unprofessional to me, but $@#% happens I guess...

These were all painful to watch except the ice sculpture one. I think the sculpture one was a mistake in design right? There were going to put the finishing touches but the sculpture couldn't handle its own weight... still these videos are very painful and awkward laughter inducing...

Well yea but it is one of those things that you would like to show the full shot. Front and back. Walking around a jenga tower with cords on the floor is a disaster in the making. In this case, it did happen
