How long has this been going on? I can't believe I haven't heard of it before now. I have a decent collection of 50+ XBLA games so hopefully some of them will be featured in the coming weeks.
Also, what if you completed the achievement before the contest was announced? Does it still count for your total? or do you have to earn them during that specific weekend?
Thanks.

When you get the achievements doesn't matter. In last week's, I had the Shadow Complex achievements done ages ago and they counted. So you just have to have them.

This is only their third one, and I'm guessing Zero might be right about them making things a bit harder because too many people were completing them.

BTW even though I posted this recently they have been doing this for around 2 months now I think. The just keep reusing the same page so you can't see the past challenges ^^ Hopefully they will keep doing this even if they make the requirements harder ^^

Here is the new challenge but the difficulty has been kicked up by about four notches.
Only 3 games and 3 cheevs each. You need 7! 7! meaning that you need all three games to meet
the requirements.
And the cheevs are also wicked difficult and time consuming.
Games are
Minecraft (no surprise there, they have always included one of the newest games)
Can't comment on the difficulty
Alan Wake American Nightmare (Surprise because they already used this game. I am assuming different cheevs tho)
Seems pretty tough. If you don't own the game and are not good at it I would recommend passing.
Find everything cheeves are always a pain.
Comic Jumper ( I have this game but none of the cheeves)
Once again if you don't already own this game very hard to recommend buying it because these three cheeves are the
last and most difficult cheeves you get in the game. I finished the game but it would take me another couple hours to get
these cheeves.
So my recommendation. Stay away from this week unless you already have most or own most of the games.
I will have to sit out this week... again...
Hopefully they can make it a little bit easier next week ^^
Good luck to those that are taking up the challenge. Remember it is a guarantee of codes if you meet the requirements.
And I don't want to get anyones hopes up but I have once receieved codes even though I was lacking one cheeve ^^
Enjoy!

This is my first week participating, and they definitely were time consuming and pretty tough! I hope I get some games I am interested in. Here's hoping for Skullgirls and Sine Mora.
Wish me luck
Hopefully next weeks are easier.

Mission Accomplished! I had to shell out $15 for Alan Wake though (don't regret it, that game is awesome!)... Won Minecraft on this very forum
, and I bought Comic Jumper back when it was on sale for $5 about a year ago and haven't even touched it lol. 7 achievements is BRUTAL! Basically forcing you to own all 3 games.

Dang congrats man. You must have worked your butt off ^^ How long did it take to get all the cheeves? The codes they give out are hit or miss. I got some decent ones in the past but I know some people just get dlc sometimes ^^ Good thing is that the codes come quick. Expect them sometime monday evening or by Tuesday afternoon.

Thanks
I want to say it took me roughly 2 hours of late night gaming per game. So about 6 hours total. Minecraft would have taken MUCH longer if I didn't ride a friend's mine cart. Thank god he helped me out. I looked back at some of the previous challenges and this one was by far the toughest. Some of the past ones looked like they were cake to get... More games and more (easier) cheeves to choose from.
At first I was thinking no way, seven cheeves is too much, but then I decided to start working on Minecraft, got all 3 of those. Then went on to Comic Jumper and managed to get all three of those. So it basically boiled down to taking a gamble and pulling the trigger on Alan Wake. Hopefully it pays out. If end up with some crappy DLC for some games I don't even own... this will be the last time I purchase a game for the contest... lol. I had fun acquiring them though. Hopefully some of the future weekend challenges will have more games that I already own.
I will let you guys know what I get
And thanks for cluing me into this promotion/contest! I wouldn't have ever heard about it if it wasn't for this forum.

Half Minute Hero and Ms. Splosion Man.
Didn't have HMH yet... but I bought Ms. Splosion Man on launch day, lol. I'm a huge Twisted Pixel fan
I hope to be able to participate next weekend, but I am running low on points lol. Hoping that I already own the games for next week.

The rewards for my efforts this weekend were:
Half Minute Hero and Ms. Splosion Man.
Didn't have HMH yet... but I bought Ms. Splosion Man on launch day, lol. I'm a huge Twisted Pixel fan. I ended up trading Ms. Splosion for The Splatters to a fellow CAG, so I am very pleased with the results of this challenge. Had to spend 1200 MSP, but I ended up with 3 pretty awesome games.
I hope to be able to participate next weekend, but I am running low on points lol. Hoping that I already own the games for next week.
I can confirm the validity of HMH's awesomeness, enjoy it!
It's too bad I have like, none of the games they ever have for these achievement challenges haha. I only have older XBLA games I guess. :/

Feel free to add me on Steam at http://www.steamcomm....com/id/drpixel if you just want to chat or need a friend. Please mention that you're from here though, because I usually don't accept requests from random people, which seems to happen to me a lot. ![]()

Also to those who actually participate or try to even if you have one or two missing required achievements send it anyways Alex is very lenient and who knows you might get 1 or two games from her for trying.

Once again the challenge remains extremely high. This week I own zero of the three games which are.
Dragon's Lair, The Splatters and Tenormans revenge. The last two are repeats and the cheeves themselves
are pretty hard ones.
You need 7 to get two xbla codes ^^
I will just be playing some more Diablo III and finishing up Arkham City this weekend ^^
