If you think about it, Microsoft doesn't have quite as many exclusives as Sony and Nintendo, but which characters would you like to see in a PSASBR/Smash Bros-like game for Xbox?

Here's a few I've thought up so far-

• Master Chief (the obvious one)
• The Arbiter (Halo)
• Cortana (maybe? From Halo as well)
• Banjo & Kazooie
• Conker (Conker's Bad Fur Day)
• Berri (Conker's Bad Fur Day)
• Kameo (Kameo: Elements of Power)
• Marcus Fenix (Gears of War)
• Splosion Man
• Ms Splosion Man
• Viva Pinata characters
• Shu (Blue Dragon)
• Zola (Blue Dragon)
• Marumaro (Blue Dragon)
• Kaim (Lost Odyssey)
• Seth (Lost Odyssey)
• Jason Fleming (Shadow Complex)
• The kid from Limbo
• Alan Wake (Alan Wake)
• Mr Scratch (Alan Wake)
• Inphyy (Ninety-Nine Nights)
• Fez
• Hero from Fable series
• The Gunstringer
• Kinect Sports avatars (?)

And if Microsoft was smart and pursued these third-party characters...

• Rayman (Rayman Origins)
• Globox (Rayman Origins)
• The Prince (Beautiful Katamari)

• Jade (Beyond Good & Evil)

What do you guys think? Are there any others you'd like to see that I forgot?

Are Banjo, Kazooie or Conker first party for Microsoft? Limbo is third party as well.

I'm not sure Microsoft has the history to create a game like this but then again I don't know their history that well. They might have a better shot at grabbing Commander Shepard, Garrus, Big Daddy, or some of the other now third party characters that started on the 360.

That's true, Limbo is third-party. I guess I included it on the main list since it was on the 360 first.

Also, I don't know how I missed Shepard, Garrus, and Big Daddy, but those are really good suggestions. It feels like Microsoft has too many human characters though and not enough cartoon-like or animated characters like Nintendo and Sony, so the game would probably feel a lot different in that respect.

Don't leave out the villains! The queen from GoW was pretty memorable, there's also JACK (the bot) and Dom. Super Meat Boy? Lol. Any of the characters from Fable? I think that's an exclusive? Frank West from Dead Rising. A character from Crackdown could work though it's not really well known but it's more of that cartoony/stylistic character that could work.

Kind of heard to think of any - most that I think of aren't exclusives or you've already covered them.

Maybe a class-system team shooter with a story that intertwines the universes simlilar to Kingdom Hearts or Final Fantasy Dissidia would work best for Microsoft. Master Chief, Big Daddy, Dom, and Fable Hero fight their way through an army of cross breeds of their enemies.

True, but you're forgetting that Microsoft DID publish Blue Dragon originally; I'm certain they could include the characters if they wanted, even if it did require getting Mistwalker's permission.

And as for Limbo, Microsoft published the XBLA version as well (before Playdead self-published on PSN), so even though it's no longer exclusive to the 360, I'm certain they'd have no issues including the character (especially since they're on great terms with Playdead).

That list actually isn't terrible. I'm sure you could make a decent Microsoft roster depending on how obscure you want to go. You could throw in characters from the original Xbox games like Blinx, Brute Force, and Jade Empire.

Maybe they can get a character from the Witcher 2? Characters from ME and dead space (wasn't dead space 360 exclusive before 2 came out?). They could add in scott pilgrim. Even characters from other XBLA.

I don't know enough of their games nor have I played many of them to know all the characters to list them out.

Oh yeah you would definitely have to think original xbox as well.

(I was a little discouraged to see the original xbox exclusives.. pretty weak list.
Although I thoroughly enjoyed my original xbox ^^)

Yea Kotor was an excellent game for the xbox, so it should be represented. Same as perfect dark. But I honestly can't think of more games.

Bastila Shan, Darth Malak, and Joanna Dark would all be great characters to include.

If were going to include RARE then they could throw in some Killer Instinct characters, give fans a taste of what they have been asking for years now.

Seems like a lot of those character just don't have the same recognition as most of the Playstation All Stars crew do. I think that if Microsoft were to attempt such a game they should focus more on getting great first party franchises going. Sony really has been doing a great job in that regard this generation.

Oh okay, thank you. Maybe I'm thinking of Mass Effects. But that doesn't matter. Dead space characters are out of the questions then.

If Microsoft did make a game like this the list of characters I have read some far sounds great.
Here's some ideas I had:
On the Gears of Wars list I would add Cole Train also.

I think some of the characters from Bulletstorm would also be a nice fit as well.

A funny thing would be if they made this game & added Dance Central characters. What would be more embarrassing then get beat down with dance moves. Or they could gave them fighting moves with special moves like the characters had in Def Jam & Def Jam: Fight For NY.

How about the XBOX avatars? Having avatars that can use the moves of character from other games or having its own special set of moves that are especially to it.

Characters from Too Human. Haven't played the game yet but from what I saw they probably will be a good fit.
