Gizmodo posted this video earlier and I thought I'd share it here because it's pretty amazing, especially if you love landscapes and nature and photography/cinematography in general.

Apparently it took the filmmaker 2 years to film this. Check it out below.

I hate seeing how awesome the sky actually looks at night because I know it isn't going to look like that from my backyard.

I cannot be the only person who saw that and thought, "Whoa... That's a nice camera."

You would be the one to point out what a nice camera he has instead of paying attention to the amazing landscape :P

Though stuff like this is really quite amazing and in this day and age we don't really think about it or take the time to appreciate (I know I definitely don't). I guess that sounds silly and cliche...but it is true. Nature can be extremely destructive and scary but it's also quite majestic and mesmerizing to look at. This video is an example of the latter. Some of the most amazing things I've seen are different sunsets/clouds before a storm and pictures of space...

Oh and I like lightning too as you can tell by my avatar!

Very beautiful!!!! I wish quite frequently that I didn't live quite so close to all the lights in the city. I always think it's beautiful to go out into the country and be amazed at all the stars. It's also wonderful that people out there have occupations like the man or team who captured this. Must be so relaxing and fulfilling.

That is amazing and well worth the 2 years it took. That took some dedication but wow just what a beautiful scenery. I wish I could see this in person. That would be a great vacation, a very good family vacation just to go see. Definitely need to put this on the bucket list.

I love how in the video the skies are moving. Like the part where the clouds are moving back and forward and the stars too. Just an amazing thing to see.

Great post.
