Wow, so first it was Adam Sessler leaving G4, and now Kevin Pereira.

G4 announced today that Pereira would be leaving the show after 10 years (6 years co-hosting it) to focus on his new production company, Super Creative, but not before covering E3 2012 first.

After more than a decade on the air, host Kevin Pereira is leaving G4TV's Attack of the Show. Attack will celebrate Pereira’s contribution to G4 with a month-long look back at his most memorable comedy sketches, interviews, and hilarious off-the-cuff moments from the show. The Pereira-palooza will culminate on May 31, his final day on AOTS, before Pereira delivers his final live, on-location coverage for the gaming world's biggest event, the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), from June 4-7. In other words: Kevin’s going out large.

“For the last ten years, G4 has provided me a phenomenal career filled with countless once-in-a-lifetime opportunities and the chance to work with some of the most driven, talented and passionate people in the business,” said Pereira. “I want to thank our viewers for allowing me to inform and entertain them each and every week.”

Pereira started at G4 in 2002 as a lowly production assistant, but leveled-up to co-host of Attack of the Show! by 2006. Along with AOTS, Kevin was a staple of G4's extensive live coverage from the world’s largest nerd-gatherings, including E3 CES and Comic-Con as well as countless trips to exotic locations all over the world for various pop culture related events and happenings.

Pereira says he plans to continue creating television shows, interactive applications and live experiences. “I plan to turn my attention to full-time with my production company Super Creative and live touring nerd-carnival leetUP," Pereira said.

I was never a fan of his so this doesn't bother me. The show itself went way downhill after Olivia Munn left. Not really because of her looks but because the new girl doesn't have as good of improvisational skills.

Do I sense a....pattern? I think it's Conspiracy Neo meme time! Seriously, these guys are dropping like flies. Is G4 not paying them enough to stay on-air or is there something else going on? To lost two stand-bys in the course of three days is a bit ridiculous and, I would think, highly unusual. But honestly, I never really enjoyed AotS except for the Batman skit. Other than that, I mostly ignored it because the news segments were much more interesting in a readable article format.

Uh-oh, it looks like G4 is going to file for bankruptcy soon.

I think AOTS might have some problems finding someone that could take his place. To me he really is one of the people that keeps the show interesting. Candance is ok but Kevin helps balance out her random out of place comments on many times. Really is weird a bit disheartening that so many people are jumping the G4 ship, this may not be a good sign for the future of the channel. Hopefully the people that are left around and new shows can carry the channel.

Now that Adam and Kevin are gone, G4 can finally ditch those shows and replace them with more Cheaters and Cops 2.0 reruns.

But seriously, G4's really going downhill. Well, more downhill than before. And after today (May 31st), Kevin will officially be gone. Goodbye, sweet prince.

I saw Kevin's last episode and I have to say they give him the greatest send-off in my opinion. Especially the last 10 to 20 minutes were kind of touching where they showed flashbacks, people saying bye to Kevin (Including surprisingly Olivia Munn), clips of alot of Kevin's greatest moments which brought his co-host and people that worked with him especially Sara Underwood to tears. The final walk was great also where he walked by momentos(and they showed more flashbacks) of his career on the channel. Even though at the end it seemed like he was going to have his final walk into the sunset, Dude Manrood showed him how a true man leaves a show. :D

G4 really need to get some more talent to fill the void or new shows because I agree with Jordan about what they would replaced them with if they don't (That or more Ninja Warrior reruns).
